 | I have always been passionate about craft work. From a very early age I was knitting, sewing and crocheting. Later, I dabbled in macrame, rug-making, tie-dyeing and love bead necklaces, among others.
Whilst in Canada, some 30 years ago, I discovered quilting. This opened up a whole new world of texture and colour and I have been quilting ever since. From decorative wall-hangings to full size bed quilts, these are timeless, unique and personal gifts to give. I taught patchwork and quilting for several years around the North Island of NewZealand.
More recently I have been working with beads, a versatile medium which can be combined with others, such as textiles, or used alone to create wonderful pieces of jewellery.
I am thrilled to be able to offer you the opportunity to own fabulous, unique jewellery and textile art proudly hand crafted in New Zealand (check out the 'Shopping'), or to share my knowledge and teach you how to create your own (check out the 'Classes' available).
