Helen Harford
Helen HarfordMachine Quilting on my Longarm Machine has become the main focus of my business as I get busier quilting for all my lovely customers. Helen H Originals has proudly morphed into HelHO Machine Quilting.

Whilst in Canada, some 38 + years ago, I discovered quilting. This opened up a whole new world of texture and colour and I have been quilting ever since. From decorative wall-hangings to full size bed quilts, these are timeless, unique and personal gifts to give. I taught patchwork and quilting for several years around the North Island of NewZealand. Now, with the arrival of a longarm quilting machine I will be able to turn your quilt tops into beautiful completed quilts that you can use or give.

I Take Pride in Your Quilt.

For more information check out the PDFs available under "Quilting Service".

My unique quilts, textile art and jewellery are proudly hand crafted in New Zealand (check out the 'Shopping') and can be yours to own or give. Also, I have a Coffee and Craft session fortnightly at my home in Whangaparaoa. See the details under 'Quilting Service' and get your name down to join in the fun.

Studio Re-org  24-Sep-14 01:18 PM
Time for a huge change around in my studio/workroom. The longarm machine hasn't moved, but lots of things have moved around it. And best of all, I now have my batting stand set up. It's much easier to cut batting now.
Summer is on it's way  9-Sep-14 12:31 PM
The sun is shining (for the moment) which gives me heart and makes me believe there will be a summer without too much wind. Ever the optimist! After 2 very busy Coffee and Craft mornings, today was surprisingly quiet. One more (on the 23rd Sep) if you would like to join our group. Then a break before Term 4 starts. This weekend the Caring Quilters will meet to make quilts for Hibiscus Hospice. If you would like to be part of making quilts for the brave people at Hospice, or would like to make a donation of fabric or $$s, please contact me for more details. Have a lovely day and enjoy the sunshine if you can.
A Traditional Affair
Red and White. So traditional and always popular. Actually, it's cream. 163 X 204 cm. 50/50 wool/cotton mix for the batting gives a traditional flatter look, but is still warm. Machine washable, delicate with wool wash. Spin, then line dry.
