 | Machine Quilting on my Longarm Machine has now become the main focus of my business as I get busier quilting for all my lovely customers. Helen H Originals has proudly morphed into HelHO Machine Quilting.
Whilst in Canada, some 35 + years ago, I discovered quilting. This opened up a whole new world of texture and colour and I have been quilting ever since. From decorative wall-hangings to full size bed quilts, these are timeless, unique and personal gifts to give. I taught patchwork and quilting for several years around the North Island of NewZealand. Now, with the arrival of a longarm quilting machine, affectionately known as 'Nellie', I will be able to turn your quilt tops into beautiful completed quilts that you can use or give.
I have always been passionate about craft work. From a very early age I was knitting, sewing and crocheting. Later, I dabbled in macrame, rug-making, tie-dyeing and love bead necklaces, among others. Then came quilting!
My unique quilts, textile art and jewellery are proudly hand crafted in New Zealand (check out the 'Shopping') and can be yours to own or give. Also, I have a Coffee and Craft session fortnightly at my home in Whangaparaoa. See the details under 'Classes' and get your name down to join in the fun.
